Merkmale

  • Non-contact EMAT technique that can be used on rough, painted, and rusty bridge surfaces without surface preparation.
  • Comprehensive evaluation of live load, dead load, thermal, and fabrication-induced residual stresses.
  • Custom-designed hardware and software for stress analysis of steel bridge components, including girders/beams, gusset plates, and pin-and-hanger assemblies.
  • Stress measurements remain unaffected by temperature variations in the comonent.
  • Patented pulser/receiver with optimized EMAT sensors provides <0.8 ns TOF resolution (~2.5 µm-0.0001" in. material thickness) for accurate birefringence and residual stress measurement.
  • Custom reports featuring calculated stress measurements, visuals, and raw data export to CSV.

SENSORS AND ACCESSORIES

Standard EMAT and DCUT Sensors and Accessories for the most common applications (normal beam, guided waves, angled beam)
