CHORUS AL-NB is designed for inspection of cast aluminum logs as they traverse through the line without rotation.

  • Integrated 2D laser sensors and EMAT sensor actuators.
  • Laser sensors detect the log shape, orientation, and direction, and automatically position the EMAT sensors to maintain proper compliance during inspection.
  • Automatic robot repositioning to different locations around the log diameter for re-scanning and defect verification.
  • Built-in calibration rack for automatic verification and calibration while in production.
